Job Description:

Our client a leading financial services firm is seeking a TPS Oversight Specialist to join their team. The individual will require to manage and oversee TPA, Fund Managers and Custodians. The role holder requires excellent people management and influencing skills.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience in Financial Services.
• Demonstrable background in checking & oversight responsibilities.
• Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training.
• For team leaders, accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product.
• Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems.
• Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them.
• Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations.
• Technical experience.
• 'Hands on' mindset.
• Strong analytical skills.

Core Responsibilities:

• To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in the firm's operational risk.
• Act as a point of contact for all data matters relating to third party content review.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and take strong personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls. Be personally responsible for and support initiatives to reduce the firm's operational risk.
• Meet the required standard for the governance framework for oversight of third party suppliers.
• Ensure Third Parties are delivering in accordance with defined service level agreements and evolving with our business.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure their current and future requirements are being met.
