Betsy Williamson is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Core-Asset Consulting, founded in 2005. Driven by the belief that "recruitment should be built on people, service and ethics – not fees, targets and internal competition," Betsy launched Core-Asset’s innovative model combining executive search principles with the best of contingency sourcing.

Her leadership has driven Core-Asset through significant expansion, achieving record milestones and earning recognition as one of the top 200 women-powered businesses in the UK by JP Morgan Private Bank (2003). With an MA in Human Capital Management and a BA in International Business, Betsy has dedicated her career to recruitment in the financial and professional services sectors, and she is a true expert in the field.

Louise is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Core-Asset Consulting, and has been a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team since its inception in 2005. With over two decades of experience in recruitment, she initially specialised in asset management before expanding her expertise to include FinTech, Platforms, and Pensions in response to evolving client demands.

Louise’s extensive network and deep market understanding, along with her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), have established her as a trusted partner in filling critical roles for the UK & Ireland’s largest brands. Responsible for the strategic management of the team, Louise is dedicated to ensuring that Core-Asset Consulting continues to be a trusted partner for both existing and new clients.

Originally from Ireland, Rachael has been an integral part of the Core-Asset Consulting team for eight years, bringing 20 years of recruitment experience from London and Edinburgh. With a background in Business Studies and an MA in PR & Communications, Rachael's unique blend of strategic insight and consultative communication adds valuable depth to our team and influences many of our client projects.

Specialising in executive search, financial services, and investment recruitment, Rachael supports clients across the UK and Ireland. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, mentoring young people through MCR Pathways and encouraging girls to pursue careers in finance and investment through her work with Future Asset. As Director and part of the senior management team, Rachael's passion for providing a truly consultative service, combined with her deep understanding of the financial services sector, has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor in recruitment.

Emma, a founding member of Core-Asset Solutions, has played a pivotal role in shaping the division’s unique offering and now leads the team. With an MA in Psychology and Business, Emma brings over 15 years of recruitment experience and is renowned for her deep industry knowledge and blend of empathy and efficiency.

Kim has been a dedicated member of Core-Asset Consulting for over 15 years, and her recruitment expertise spans several critical areas, including Legal, Risk & Compliance, Data, Governance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Kim’s approach is authentic and people-focused, ensuring that every candidate and client receives honest, reliable, and professional service. Julia has been an integral part of the Core-Asset Solutions team for over a decade. After studying Business and Marketing at University, she joined the team and has been a part of the huge growth of the temporary, interim and contract division from its early days. Julia specialises in business support recruitment, and her diverse portfolio spans HR, IT, marketing, administration, and change management.

Known for her productivity and solution-oriented approach, she navigates her field's fast-paced and ever-changing landscape with ease. Titta has been with Core-Asset Consulting for 18 years, starting her recruitment career with the company. She specialises in Compliance, Financial Crime, Marketing, Pensions, and HR recruitment, with a passion for compliance and HR roles. Titta provides tailored and personal service.

Ian is an experienced Business Manager at Core-Asset Solutions, a division of Core-Asset Consulting, specialising in recruitment for interim, temporary, and contract positions across the UK and Ireland. With over eight years in the recruitment industry, Ian has developed extensive expertise in the accountancy and finance sectors, consistently delivering high-quality service to his clients.

With his strategic mindset, calm approach, and sharp eye for detail, Ian contributes significantly to the Solutions team’s consistent ranking at the top of supplier lists for key accounts. Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his young family and their dog. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, with a keen interest in watching rugby and football, as well as playing golf and running.

Kamilla has been an integral part of Core-Asset Consulting for almost 12 years. She finds immense satisfaction in supporting people to transform their lives, and her approach is driven by empathy and connection. Specialising in permanent recruitment, Kamilla’s expertise spans front-office investment management, client management, and actuarial.

She excels in finding the perfect fit across all asset classes and geographies, taking pride in the challenge of locating the ideal candidate for each client. Kamilla’s dedication goes beyond filling roles; she supports long-standing relationships, understanding every aspect of her candidates' journeys. Chris began his career in sales and hospitality, where he honed his skills in relationship management. Today, he leverages his experience as a Senior Consultant within the temporary, interim, and contract team, focusing on connecting top talent with their ideal roles. Known for his commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, Chris brings a fresh perspective to the team. His good humour and dedication to excellence inspire those around him, and he consistently delivers exceptional service whether recruiting for a single role or managing high-volume placements.

Chris specialises in investment operations and core business functions, including cash and asset reconciliations, trades, risk and compliance, and actuarial roles. Outside of work, Chris enjoys a round of golf and appreciates a good craft beer.

Cat has been a vital member of the Core-Asset Consulting team for five years. With a background in Politics and International Relations, she brings a keen interest in global affairs and a deep understanding of the complex dynamics that shape the industry. Beginning her career in back-office support, Cat brings a nuanced understanding of the recruitment process from both operational and client-facing angles. Driven by a genuine interest in people, she excels at building strong relationships with clients and candidates alike, and is known for the high level of care she brings to the role.

With a degree in Business & Enterprise, Laura has been an integral member of the Core-Asset team for nearly four years. She now leads the Verify service, ensuring a seamless and supportive journey throughout the pre-employment vetting process. Known for her warmth and professionalism, Laura is a natural connector and true people-person, and excels in building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Originally from France, Julie holds a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Translation from Université de Lorraine. For the past five years, she has been an integral part of the Core-Asset Consulting team, bringing a strong operational focus to her role. With a background in project management, process improvement, and stakeholder liaison, Julie now leads Core-Asset Consulting’s operations, and is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, managing resources, and ensuring strategic alignment across the business.

As Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee and Data Protection Officer (DPO), Julie is passionate about GDPR and is dedicated to ensuring the company’s data protection practices meet the highest standards of compliance and security. Known for her reliability and solution-oriented approach, Julie consistently delivers high-quality results in a fast-paced, ever-changing sector.

With over a decade of experience across both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors, Sophie is passionate about the impact of effective communication. She oversees all aspects of communications for the business, from marketing and advertising to media relations, client engagement, public affairs, and internal communications.

Holding a first-class MA in English from the University of St Andrews, Sophie combines strategic thinking with a people-focused approach. After graduating with a BA in English and Film, Chloe joined Core-Asset Consulting as an Associate, supporting our team to connect top talent with leading firms.
