Job Description:

Our client a market leading asset management firm is looking for a Client Reporting & Onboarding Vice President based in Edinburgh to work as part of the Client Reporting team formulating the successful delivery of critical investment reporting. As a Client Reporting & Onboarding Vice President you will partner with colleagues to craft and advance a globally aligned vision and business model.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Keen interest in investment products with 5+ years of financial services experience, especially client on-boarding, communications, or data visualisation is desirable.
  • Proven ability to operate under tight deadlines prioritising work and documenting conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extraordinary client service skills, maturity, and autonomy.
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to synthesise information, summarise issues, and think creatively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly VBA, is desirable.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team responsible for on-boarding new client reporting.
  • Designing specialised reporting appropriate to individual client needs showing high understanding of the flow of client, market, fund information, and external data providers.
  • Analysing trends in data requests to improve and enhance client reports on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting as clients on-board to set a strong initial service standard.
  • Building and maintaining open and trusting key partner relationships, with client-facing teams and with key data providers.
  • Using appropriate technology to provide efficient and scalable solutions as well as regular application of Excel to customised solutions.
  • Supporting relevant business improvement projects, including automation/standardisation efforts and the evolution of standard reporting.
  • Understanding the risk environment within the department - promoting risk awareness, assessment, and controls.
