Job Description:
Are you experienced in digital marketing with a focus on email and event communications? Our client is recruiting a Digital Marketing Assistant to provide assistance and support to the Email & Events function within the Digital Communications Team. You will be responsible for creating and publishing new content and platforms specific to email and event communications. Also, to provide the wider Digital Communications Team with administrative support as required.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with CMS and email campaign platforms, and experience of using same.
- Knowledge of digital and UX best practice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised.
- Visually and verbally articulate.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Financial Services experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Using Marketo, be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining email content and templates for all email marketing activities including webinar promotion and event signup.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, reviewing briefs and collecting other requirements for implementation.
- Work closely with Campaigns Team to ensure efficient flow of requests and implementation and to assist with scheduling of sends.
- Work with the team, relevant areas of the firm and external agencies to support marketing initiatives across the business.
- Be aware of all financial promotion and other relevant legislation and take into account its impact on our websites and online marketing material, with guidance from compliance and legal, including maintaining appropriate compliance records and any relevant procedure notes.
- Maintain an awareness of the digital and marketing environments and contribute ideas and proposals where appropriate.
- Conduct testing and reporting on email performance and signup rates.
