Job Description:
Our client a, global investment manager, is looking for a Pensions Customer Service - Contact Centre to join their team. Located in Edinburgh or Stirling, the successful candidate will play a key role in 'on-boarding' new customers and servicing their ongoing needs in regards to their pensions. This will be done by answering questions, complaints and general requests in regards to pension products via the most appropriate method (phone, email or webchat).
Essential Skills/Experience:
- At least 1-year experience of working in a customer service/contact centre environment
- Experience working with pensions, desirably in a similar position
- Understanding of pensions and the tax regime in which they operate and of related FSA compliance rules
- Appropriate behaviours and approach to listen for and understand a customer's requests, identifying what is required to deliver to that need
- Ability to connect, build rapport where appropriate and deliver an excellent quality service for customers
- Excellent customer service skills
Core Responsibilities:
- To provide accurate and straight forward information to Advisers and Customers via the most appropriate channel (telephone, email or webchat)
- Identify, handle and resolve customer complaints
- To keep up to date with process and pensions knowledge
- Identify and provide support for vulnerable customers
- Being proactive in approach to all aspects of work
