Job Description:

A new and exciting opportunity is now available to join a leading, global digital advice company based in Edinburgh. Serve as the functional lead as a Technical Software Consultant - Integration, you will work closely with the clients, client facing, product and product development teams to build financial advice experiences for the clients, delivered through the innovative and highly configurable platform.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Proven understanding of applications supported with a sound knowledge of interfacing / integrated applications and Platform Configuration.
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge in Wealth and Advice sectors.
  • Knowledge of Git and JSON.
  • Sound knowledge of application architecture, API management, logic decision making and software development discipline.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver solutions to business requirements using the API-based platform.
  • Drive out functional requirements and designs in collaboration with the client that meet the clients' requirements.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams.
  • Propose, implement, and manage the implementation of Client solutions that meet their business requirements.
  • Lead client sessions to gather, define, and document business requirements.
  • Document and implement Integration changes and data-mapping requirements.
  • Maintain process flow documentation in the form of Playbooks.
  • Use tools and techniques to develop and test Integration changes.
  • Support Integration client implementations using debugging techniques.
  • Interact with product, development, and delivery teams to ensure that changes are developed to the right standards and expectations
  • Participate in story estimation and planning for Integration changes.
