Job Description:

A leading asset manager is seeking an experienced Digital Architect to join their exciting team aligned to fin tech to support digital advice, pension and investment solutions. With extensive experience in designing application architectures, development using REST/SOAP, ReactJS, Angular or similar for websites and APIs, you will be working with senior level stakeholders to provide solutions and thrive in a fast paced, global environment.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Extensive experience designing application architectures
• Extensive hands-on development experience using Java, Python, Go, REST/SOAP, NodeJS, GraphQL, ReactJS, Angular, React Native, Swift, Kotlin or other relevant technologies
• Proven experience with AWS solutions and infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, containerization, real-time/batch integration mechanisms/protocols
• Excellent knowledge of container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS.
• Good understand of Agile methodologies
• Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative environment and with teams spread across multiple locations across multiple time zones.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience in the digital wealth/advice market

Core Responsibilities:

• Drive application architecture, technical trade-offs, and best practices across multiple technology products on both web and mobile. (e.g. maintainability, scalability, performance, resiliency and adaptability)
• Drive application solutioning for deployment and integrations with clients and partners, in collaboration with client delivery teams.
• Provide hands on technical guidance on R&D and Proof of Concept (POC) projects/applications.
• Drive code review sessions and hands-on coding when needed.
• Translate business requirements into system level design and detailed technical architecture documents.
• Work closely with the Technology Product Owner and Domain Architect, and partner with business stakeholders, engineering team and enterprise technology teams across the company to drive the architecture of Wealth Management solutions.
• Establish strong cross-functional partnerships including with product, client deployments, cloud, data, security and compliance teams
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry standards, to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement activities.
