Job Description:
Our client, a global investment administration company, is looking for a Corporate Actions Analyst to join their team. The Corporate Actions team are responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Corporate Action Events, on behalf of their clients. Located in Edinburgh or Glasgow, the team itself sits within the Operations department of the business. The role holder will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and risk awareness is critical.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
- Regulatory awareness
- Experience in Mandatory or Voluntary Corporate Actions in the UK, US and/or European Equity Markets
Core Responsibilities:
- Collate, scrub and interpret information for Mandatory and Voluntary corporate action events using custodian and vendor feeds
- Reconcile internal client positions against custodian positions (RD+1 checks)
- Notify clients of voluntary events including elections options, deadlines and diarise with accuracy Adhere to established processes and procedures
- Monitor incoming Research queries to ensure they are answered accurately and on a timely basis
- Management of exception queues - Research Workflow Tasks only
- Proxy Voting - notifying clients of upcoming meeting events
- Private Equity - Notify clients of upcoming Call and Capital Distributions
