Job Description:

One of our long standing and trusted clients has an exciting new role for a Client Manager (Data Journey) to join their team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play key role in looking after a portfolio of Third-Party Administration client projects and manages and develops relationships with key stakeholders.

Strong relationship management skills along with technical knowledge in pensions administration is essential to help ensure a quality service is provided. Experience of DB and DC schemes is essential along with projects experience.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Qualifications:

  • Holds an Honours Degree, or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Preferably APMI qualified or working towards qualification.

Skills / Experience:

  • Client management and customer service excellence.
  • Project management principles and techniques and experience of managing projects to quality, scope, and cost.
  • Proven commercial acumen.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experienced in scoping and costing project work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated in the ability to engage with and influence colleagues successfully across all levels of the organisation.
  • Sound knowledge of the benefit structure of the scheme and its DB & DC sections

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all out of scope and non-standard project work is carefully scoped and costed before client acceptance and then delivered on time.
  • Ensures Third-Party Administration data journey relationship with the client(s) is in line with profit and revenue projections and projects to be delivered according to individual requirements.
  • Identifies and communicates new data journey proposition service offerings to the client(s) and internal consultants and helps to construct and deliver these through the team. May include new regulatory requirements.
  • Acquires and maintains a solid understanding of the firm's products and services, in relation to Data Journey planning.
  • Provides support to Senior Consultants around the business in account development of existing clients and participating in new business activities.
  • Manages and develops the client relationship for portfolio of clients within TPA Business Unit as part of the Data Journey proposition.
  • Client planning: produces client data journey plan(s) which includes processes and activities to be agreed with the client and liaises with Client Director, other colleagues to ensure the right resource is assigned to the work and delivered to agreed timescales.
  • Prepares for and attends client meetings, with responsibility for tasks and actions arising from these.
  • Flexibility to travel to clients and other offices.
