Job Description:
Our client, a financial services firm in Edinburgh has an opportunity for an Portfolio Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment of funds, construction and monitoring of portfolios and producing performance reports.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of asset class including cash, currencies, fixed interest, equities.
- Qualified or working towards IMC or CISI or equivalent.
- Highly numerate, proficient use of MS Office suite especially Excel/VBA.
- Excellent team player, collaborator, and strong communicator.
Core Responsibilities:
- Portfolio analysis - including asset allocation, risk, performance, benchmarking, etc.
- Attending meetings and writing reports across a range of asset classes.
- Assist in managing core multi-asset portfolio.
- Servicing and supporting advisers.
- Participation in lead generation/pitches alongside sales function, as an investment specialist.
- Assisting with the preparation and production of monthly reports.
