Job Description:

Are you an experienced Team Assistant who enjoys working within fast paced and dynamic environments?

Our client, a global investment bank in London, is recruiting for a Sales & Trading Desk Assistant on a 12 month temporary basis.

This role requires you to work in the office 5 days per week.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Ability to organise and prioritise complicated travel

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as point of contact for teams dealing with requests from clients and other departments
  • Arrange meetings/conference calls and general calendar management
  • Extensive travel management - complex itineraries for trips and visa arrangements
  • Room Bookings - organise room bookings and catering internal and external
  • Transportation - booking cabs, hotel bookings, providing currency etc
  • Phone Coverage - extensive phone coverage using the Dealerboard & Cisco phone
  • Expense and invoice management
  • Work alongside Assistants making sure there is desk coverage at all time and assisting during absences or whenever necessary
  • Maintain accurate client information and update Firm client information
  • Provide intermediate to advanced levels of Word, Excel & PowerPoint for presentation material preparation
