Job Description:

Our client has an exciting new role for an experienced Bids Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis in Edinburgh. This role will work with the wider business and is responsible for the completion of RFPs and DDQs. Fantastic opportunity to join a renowned firm in a varied role.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related role within an investment firm is desireable.
  • Evidence of financial and investment understanding and knowledge e.g. understanding of products and strategies, client service experience or investment consultancy.
  • Degree educated or significant experience within investment industry, or appetite to study.
  • Strong written English skills and ability to interpret and tailor text appropriately.
  • Possess the skill and technical knowledge to interpret data and requirements.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint - advanced proficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with the accurate and effective production of RFPs, consultant databases and related documents.
  • Assist with the creation of RFPs and other questionnaires that create a favourable first impression with clients, consultants and prospects.
  • Assist with responses to questionnaires on all topics related to sustainability.
  • Have a working knowledge of approach to sustainability to enable effective responses to related questionnaires.
  • Gather data, collate supporting material, edit text, all within required deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with all areas of the firm.
  • Review data to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with the maintenance of master text and in the appropriate and efficient distribution of that text, quarterly.
  • Ensure that procedures are followed and met in regard to approvals and audit requirements.
  • Undertake project work as required.
  • Record related activities on Salesforce
