Job Description:

Our client, a successful financial services company, are looking for a Learning & Development Advisor to join their award-winning team.

The role will involve designing and delivering a range of soft skills and leadership programmes, delivered face to face and virtually. You will enjoy working on a variety of projects which are aligned to our firm's strategy. You will love learning and helping others to learn in creative and dynamic ways.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, with occasional travel to their other office locations in London and Birmingham.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Qualified to degree level and CIPD qualified advantageous
  • Experience of designing and delivering a range of programmes
  • Knowledge of psychometrics and their use in development, this may include insights discovery, emotional intelligence, team models etc.
  • Motivated and disciplined, with a strong focus on quality
  • Strong team player with a genuine commitment to collaboration
  • A credible and influential communicator
  • Solution provider to issues and challenges

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver, and measure learning programmes, both face to face and virtual
  • Deliver individual and team coaching to a high standard (once qualified)
  • Contribute to key L&D projects to support the achievement of our strategic imperatives
  • Utilise data to ensure we're adopting a diverse & inclusive approach, and benchmark against best practice
  • Work closely with Business Leaders and HRBP's to assess relevant learning
  • Ensure high standards of quality and professionalism in all areas of L&D - including digital, face-to-face, suppliers, curated materials, etc.
