Job Description:
Do you have payroll experience and are looking for your next role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join the team at a financial services firm on a permanent basis. This role is based in Glasgow.
Skills/Experience:
- CIPP qualification desirable
- Payroll experience - ability to explain PAYE and calculations
- Proficient in use of payroll systems, experience of Access People XD desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel
Core Responsibilities:
- Processing of end-to-end monthly payroll
- Assisting with calculation and submission of monthly and tax year end PAYE to HMRC
- Processing of payroll benefits
- Dealing with queries and requests in relation to payroll, pensions, and benefits
- Ensuring adherence to processes, procedures & controls
- Completion of month end payroll reports
- Cover for Payroll Manager
