Job Description:

We are working on an excellent opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join a leading investment management firm in London on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Investment Management team and wider business to deliver an excellent client service.

This role is part-time, 28 hours a week.

Skills/Experience:

  • Have experience working in an administrative role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment in which the company operates
  • Understanding of the products and services the company provides
  • Be proactive in seeking opportunities to gain knowledge and understanding to aid ability to complete the role to a high standard.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Opening clients' accounts whilst adhering to AML regulations.
  • Process and monitor account amendments for any changes of client information.
  • Provide administration support for portfolio transfers in and out of the company.
  • Obtain and review CGT information.
  • Internally transfer holdings between accounts.
  • Process and monitor account closures.
  • Contribute to support staff meetings, suggesting improvements to procedures and processes
  • Respond promptly to telephone calls, take and pass on clear messages and project a positive image of the organisation.
  • Provide ad hoc administration support including reception cover as required including answering calls, welcoming guests, and preparing for meetings.
  • Facilitate, manage and file client correspondence and records in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy of data.
