Job Description:

Core-Asset Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a leading UK wealth management firm to recruit a Client Services Executive in their Edinburgh office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-driven wealth professional to join an established, client-focused team in a busy and varied role. They offer different routes of progression and support professional qualifications.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience within a Client Services function in a wealth management environment is essential.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of pensions, bonds and other investment wrappers.
  • Strong accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting the end-to-end onboarding of new clients.
  • Ability to organise workload effectively and reach deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly client-focused, with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to identify process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance level of service.
  • Good technical understanding of operational administration including transfers and settlement.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support Advisers in meeting annual suitability review targets by arranging client meetings, attending meetings where required and completing post-meeting documentation.
  • Produce Statements of Suitability (SOS) following client meetings and ensure all annual review activities are completed promptly.
  • Process new business applications across a range of products including GIA/ISA/SIPP, VCT/EIS, Protection and Bonds, ensuring accurate account setup and fee configuration.
  • Set up fee estimates and support the timely processing of initial fees.
  • Complete new business cases within the CRM system, ensuring all advice events and client records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain compliant and well-structured advice files.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, providing updates on transfers and responding to queries.
  • Action dealing instructions, including switches, rebalances, investments and fund withdrawals.
  • Process bond encashments and withdrawals.
  • Ensure all client communications - emails, letters, reports - accurate, timely and appropriate.
  • Liaise closely with internal operations teams to help minimise errors and support strong service delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational systems and procedures.
  • Recommend practical improvements to processes and contribute to the creation and review of internal procedures.
  • Maintain filing in line with regulatory and internal standards.
