Job Description:

Our client, a leading wealth management firm in Edinburgh, is seeking a Team Administrator to support a client-facing team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant administration on a permanent basis. The role is varied and offers a clear development pathway within Investment Management, with the firm actively supporting employees through professional qualifications. Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Interest in financial markets and the wider workings of investment management
  • Experience in a similar role as an Administrator within Wealth or Investment Management preferred but not essential
  • Ability to engage diverse clients, Professional Adviser, investment managers and product providers
  • Proven organisation, planning and prioritising skills
  • Ability to understand and assimilate complex information
  • An aptitude for oral, written and presentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that administrative and client support is provided to the highest level, in a timely fashion, with a high level of accuracy
  • Completing client KYC data amendments and account amendments
  • Answering client queries on the phone and email
  • Opening, scanning and saving post to client files
  • Assist with formal reporting query resolution
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders for the effective onboarding of clients
  • Assisting with meeting preparation including printing and binding client and Professional Adviser reports and presentations
  • Ensure that all ad hoc administrative projects and delivered to the highest standards and in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Processing ISA subscriptions
  • Completing payments instructions from clients
  • Successfully communicate with external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that all company policy and procedures are implemented successfully, identifying further enhancements where appropriate
  • Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules
