Job Description:
Core-Asset Consulting is supporting a respected financial planning firm with the appointment of a Paraplanner to join their established team in Nuneaton.
The Paraplanner will be responsible for producing detailed investment and research reports for new and existing clients. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial planning needs, while operating in line with regulatory and professional standards.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma (completed or in progress)
- Minimum of two years' experience in a Paraplanner role within a similar financial services environment
- Strong knowledge of investments and financial services products
- Understanding of investment-related frameworks and industry practices
- Ability to understand and support complex financial planning solutions, including the needs of vulnerable clients
Core Responsibilities:
- Create detailed investment reports for existing clients, providing in-depth analysis of investment portfolios
- Prepare pre-investment packs to support Financial Consultants with client recommendations
- Produce market research reports to ensure investment solutions remain competitive and up to date
- Provide technical support to administrative staff where required
- Maintain contact with investment and insurance providers and support the management of these relationships
- Ensure all duties are performed in line with regulatory conduct expectations
