Job Description:
We are working with a well-established financial planning firm to recruit an IFA Administrator to join their team in Dunblane, operating on a hybrid working basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised professional seeking a long-term career within a small, professional setting that offers broad exposure to back-office operations. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily business functions, liaising with clients, and helping ensure the efficient running of a busy office.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience working within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment. Desirably within financial planning.
- Experience communicating confidently and positively with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Basic Excel skills and general IT proficiency.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, and monitor deadlines.
- A good level of numerical awareness.
- Discretion and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to follow processes accurately and manage changing priorities in a busy office environment.
- A proactive, organised, and reliable approach to work within a collaborative team setting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Managing client communications across a range of channels.
- Coordinating and scheduling appointments.
- Supporting all client interactions (excluding advice) in a professional manner.
- Preparing detailed documentation and materials for meetings.
- Providing Personal Assistant and general administrative support.
- Completing post-meeting documentation and follow-up actions as directed.
- Assisting with paraplanning-related administrative tasks.
- Supporting all aspects of a busy back-office function within a small team.
