Job Description:

We are recruiting for an ambitious Investment professional to join our client, a well-established wealth manager, in London on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

This role is suited to an Associate Investment Manager or Assistant Portfolio Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

You will support and lead relationships with charity and not-for-profit clients, ensuring strong investment outcomes through proactive portfolio management and high-quality client service.

Skills/Experience:

• Level 4 qualified (IAD or equivalent); Level 7/CWM desirable or working towards
• Experience within UK wealth management or discretionary portfolio management
• Exposure to managing or supporting discretionary portfolios
• Strong understanding of investment markets and asset allocation
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and interest in business development

Core Responsibilities:

• Managing discretionary portfolios in line with client objectives and market conditions
• Supporting and leading client meetings, reviews and reporting
• Ensuring suitability and regulatory standards are consistently met
• Collaborating with financial planning and internal specialist teams
• Contributing to business development initiatives and growth of the client book
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
