Job Description:
Our client, a fast-growing and innovative organisation operating within the technology and financial services sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented graduate to join its HR team. You will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and delivering an exceptional experience for employees from onboarding through to offboarding.
The position is based in London for the initial six months, after which it will be permanently based in the Newcastle office.
Skills/Experience:
- Degree educated with a 2:1 and above from a Russel Group university.
- Strong academic record, including excellent A-Level results (or international equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience gained through events, recruitment coordination, careers services, student organisations or similar environments would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with recruitment systems or HR technology would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Collaborative in approach and comfortable building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to perform effectively during busy recruitment and programme delivery periods.
Core Responsibilities:
- Guide candidates through the recruitment process, providing timely communication and support from application through to offer stage.
- Coordinate interviews, assessment activities and selection events, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers and assessors alike.
- Support recruitment administration, maintaining accurate records and ensuring recruitment processes are delivered efficiently and professionally.
- Assist with offer management and pre-employment activities for successful applicants.
- Support the delivery of a variety of university engagement initiatives, helping to showcase career opportunities and strengthen relationships with academic institutions.
- Coordinate the practical arrangements behind campus events, presentations and networking activities, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for all participants.
- Contribute to the promotion of early careers opportunities across digital channels, helping to maintain an attractive and consistent employer brand.

- Help deliver internship and graduate programmes, coordinating key activities and ensuring participants have a positive and rewarding experience.
- Build strong relationships with programme participants, acting as a trusted point of contact and providing ongoing support throughout their programme journey.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders, helping to identify opportunities to enhance programme effectiveness and engagement.
- Maintain programme data, reporting and documentation to support planning, tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
