Job Description:

Our client, a financial services firm within Edinburgh, is looking for a Depositary Services Executive to join their depository team. The successful candidate will be working closely with all members of the depositary services team and act as an independent third party to protect investors.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a depositary environment is preferred
  • Experience of fund structures would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Comfortable working with numerical data and using Excel formulae to interpret information
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Previous experience coaching or supporting colleagues is beneficial but not essential

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of junior colleagues through knowledge sharing, coaching and day-to-day guidance.
  • Act as a key liaison for clients, helping to deliver a high standard of service and relationship management.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of legal and investment documentation to support ownership verification activities.
  • Oversee financial calculations and payment processes, ensuring alignment with fund governing documents and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to client onboarding processes, including due diligence reviews and the assessment of fund documentation and structures.
  • Take ownership of workload planning to ensure all obligations are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
