We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the team at a leading financial services firm. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data, and support the delivery of innovative financial products and services.

Skills/Experience:

• 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, fintech)
• Experience working within the full system development lifecycle framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in business analytics tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure etc.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, GDPR) is a plus
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to identify business objectives, challenges and opportunities for improvement
• Analyse and interpret complex data to support business decisions
• Develop process models, workflows, and use cases
• Review and assess existing business processes and systems to uncover efficiencies and recommend enhancements
• Support project delivery teams with clear and actionable insights
• Serve as the key point of communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and support functions.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and business goals
• Contribute to project delivery using Agile and Waterfall approaches, ensuring outcomes align with organisational goals
• Evaluate solution performance after implementation and recommend continuous improvements where required
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations
