Job Description:
Do you have experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, and seeking your next career move?
We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the team at a leading financial services firm. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data, and support the delivery of innovative financial products and services.
Skills/Experience:
- 3-5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services sector (banking, insurance, fintech)
- Experience working within the full system development lifecycle framework
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in business analytics tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure etc.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, GDPR) is a plus
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify business objectives, challenges and opportunities for improvement
- Analyse and interpret complex data to support business decisions
- Develop process models, workflows, and use cases
- Review and assess existing business processes and systems to uncover efficiencies and recommend enhancements
- Support project delivery teams with clear and actionable insights
- Serve as the key point of communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and support functions.
- Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and business goals
- Contribute to project delivery using Agile and Waterfall approaches, ensuring outcomes align with organisational goals
- Evaluate solution performance after implementation and recommend continuous improvements where required
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations
