Job Description:

Our client, a financial services firm in Glasgow, is looking to appoint an Operations Executive - Pricing & Valuation to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an interest in fund operations and valuations to join a team responsible for accurate and timely fund pricing activities.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • A graduate qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • An IOC qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience or understanding of portfolio administration for clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Good computer literacy and confidence using relevant systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assimilate and interpret information.
  • Experience handling complex queries and finding suitable resolutions for all parties.
  • An understanding of client service delivery and a commitment to putting the client first.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
  • An understanding of Capital Gains Tax (CGT) principles, investment products, valuation processes, performance impacts on valuations and client tax packs would be advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily and non-daily operational tasks to a high standard, escalating any issues or anomalies within agreed timescales.
  • Support the delivery of key performance indicators across the business area.
  • Review and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
  • Respond to client enquiries professionally and within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of written enquiries and responses.
  • Provide support and cover across team activities as required.
  • Ensure adherence to internal compliance procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Attend relevant training sessions to support ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to team procedures, management information reporting and internal meetings.
  • Assist with the training and development of new team members.
  • Support change initiatives and adapt positively to evolving business requirements.
