- A technically credible subject matter expert, capable of advising the business on database best practice, performance optimisation, resilience and future database architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively, in writing, verbally and face to face, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a discreet and confidential approach.
- Prioritises and manages time effectively, works across multiple projects and stakeholders, delivers to agreed deadlines and standards, and balances operational support with project delivery, with ownership and accountability.
- Oracle to SQL Server migration experience would be an advantage.
- Azure SQL technologies would be an advantage.
- SSIS would be an advantage.
- PowerShell scripting would be an advantage.
- Microsoft Excel, including VBA, would be an advantage.
Core Responsibilities:

- Create and support stored procedures, packages, functions and database scripts.
- Develop solutions for large and complex datasets.
- Deliver reporting, data extraction and integration solutions.
