Job Description:

Our client one of the UK's largest long-term savings and retirement businesses is looking for a Project Manager based in London within Asset Management. A successful candidate will have good project management skills and professional certification as well as experience working within change environment in asset management in the context of Life and Pension funds.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Strong Project Management experience in a structured project delivery environment.
  • Strong Asset Management experience with Life and Pensions providers ideally split equally between Insurance Companies and outsource providers of service/operational functions.
  • Experience executing projects using both Agile and conventional fast paced methodologies. Ideally and even mix of both types.
  • Experience working in a structured Project Delivery environment.
  • Experience running multiple full life cycle projects to a successful completion.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills together with the ability to engage, communicate and influence multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Fund Launch, Merger, Transition and Collectivisation of funds and underlying fund structures across multiple asset classes including Equities, Bonds and Property.
  • Working with Third-party suppliers.
  • Outsource of functions to third parties including Operating Model and technology changes.
  • Process analysis and mapping.
  • Regulatory / Mandatory projects and engaging the regulatory during a project.
  • Exposure to Credit based projects / illiquid Asset work.
  • Asset ratings, Asset Management Operating Models / Reporting & MI.
  • New assets - Development / Risk and control frameworks.
  • Asset valuation including validation.
