We're recruiting for a Senior Digital Content Specialist to join our client in Newcastle on a permanent basis.

Working closely with Marketing, Internal Communications, Technology and Compliance teams, you'll lead content projects, support website and intranet optimisation, and act as the subject matter expert for CMS and SharePoint content management.

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience managing enterprise website and/or intranet content.
  • Strong experience with CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Umbraco or similar, along with SharePoint Online.
  • A solid understanding of UX, accessibility, content governance and information architecture.
  • Experience using analytics tools such as GA4 and Microsoft Clarity to improve digital performance.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry is advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of website and intranet content projects, including page builds, campaigns and content migrations.
  • Manage content governance, publishing standards and quality assurance.
  • Optimise digital content, user journeys and page performance using UX and accessibility best practices.
  • Develop and maintain content structures, templates and information architecture.
  • Analyse content performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and user experience.
  • Support SEO, personalisation and conversion optimisation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Mentor and support Digital Content Specialists, promoting best practice across the team.
